Myst V: End of Ages
The tell-tale haunting and beautiful sounds of the MYST universe have returned with the latest release of Myst V: End of Ages original soundtrack, the music accompaniment to the final chapter of the multi-million selling MYST series.
Cyan Music Director/Composer Tim Larkin has created the game's original soundtrack as an homage, of sorts, to the entire franchise. Listeners will find an evocative taste of the isolated, eerie, moods, the vivid and bursting orchestral productions, and the unique combinations of world sounds that have been present in past soundtracks combined into a new and invigorating 17 track delight, woven together to carry the beauty and mood of Myst V, and to bring the series to a masterful and worthy end.
The Myst V soundtrack comes inside a uniquely designed 5" x 8" pamphlet with the CD attached to the back. Also included is a 2 page preview of the Book of Marrim.
Uru: Ages Beyond Myst
The soundtrack from Uru: Ages Beyond Myst combines an eclectic collection of various rhythms, voices and moods featuring over 50 minutes of music from the game, plus several bonus tracks from yet-to-be-released Ages. Includes interviews with Uru composer, Tim Larkin, Uru game designer, Rand Miller, and the video "Uru: The Makers" capturing an inside glimpse at the team behind the scenes.
