The classic version of Myst (for Playstation) is now available at the PlayStation Store for $5.99. If you’ve got an inkling to get back to Myst on your PlayStation device (PS3 or PSP) - head on over to the store and start exploring.
Myst is showing (and playing) at the Smithsonian American Art Museum as part of their The Art of Video Games exhibit. The exhibit kicked off in the middle of March and runs through the summer. Myst is one of five games that actually allow visitors to play for a short time - starting in the library on Myst Island. (See if you can make it to D’ni.)
If you’re in the Washington DC area don’t miss it - it’s free! And if you can’t make it to DC you still have a chance to see it when the exhibit goes on tour to select cities around the U.S.
And of course you can get the entire classic Myst experience on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and explore wherever you are! Buy it now!
Here is a panel discussion (that includes Rand) from the opening Gamefest…
Myst V the epic finale to the Myst series will be available for download via Steam on Friday, March 16 (and soon after from GOG as well.) Don’t miss this dramatic final episode!
