There are plenty of challenges as you explore the Ages of Myst. At least a few of them will seem too tough to get around. Don’t give up too easily. You may find that stepping away from the puzzle or away from the game - for a few minutes, or a few days - may be just what you need. It’s not uncommon for Myst solutions to suddenly pop into someone’s head when they wake up, or while they’re showering, or driving to work. Give it some time. Or chat with a friend. They may have played Myst and can give you something to work with.

If you’ve given it some time, you’ve checked with friends, or you’re just plain impatient, we’ve provided a hint guide that may jump-start your adventure. Use these hints with caution. Myst is meant to be savored. Take your time and enjoy the journey. They don’t call these kind of things “spoilers” for no reason - they can steal away a little satisfaction.
