Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description:

Cyan Worlds, Inc. is currently seeking Quality Assurance Game Testers for temporary full time positions. Game Testers will follow scripted game test plans designed to identify bugs, or defects, in the game. As well as use their analytical abilities to comprehensively test products.  No previous experience is required, but an interest in gaming is a must. Training will be provided. Base hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and may occasionally require night and weekend overtime, as mandated by project schedule. Compensation is $8.25 per hour. Local candidates only, please.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and execute prescribed test plan
  • Enter bugs in bug data base
  • Provide developer support as requested

Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented
  • Willing to learn and adapt to new process
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written (spelling and grammar)
  • Proficiency in PC, Windows O/S and console based platforms
  • At least 18 years old and able to verify eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
